I think I could go. Just would have to figure out some specifics like what time to head up and stuff and I should be able to take off that Saturday night.

BTW: you guys and gal are nuts, you'd fit in great up here!

Yeah, it'll be really hard to impress the hypotized girls in that cold of water.

It is cold now, but by August it should warm up to 42 or so.

No really, by August the top 3 feet usually hits 70. My wife jumped in last weekend for a pull around the lake.

I probably won't spend the night, but I will certainly join you folks and the offer still stands for some rides on the boat.

Look forward to meeting you (I think)

By the way, one of my favorite short drives around here is at the south end of donner lake (old Highway 40 to Sugarbowl). If you have never done it, I highly recommend it. The road is in great shape, lots of fun corners and an incredible view of Donner Lake and Mount Rose at the top.

w00t!

I'm in, and since all my friends that I might invite are already on this board... I guess I'm not bringing anyone... (god I'm pathetic...)

I don't have a tent here in Reno, my crappy dome tent is at my parnets house in Danville. I may head down there for Father's Day this weekend, but probably not.

Some of that equipment would be nice to bring. Possibly a couple jackets, a wake board and a knee board. I have skis (beginer only) and three adult jackets. My boat is OK for pulling, but only with a few people on board at time. I'm still trying to figure that out. It's a 20' Reinell cuddy with a 275 FI V8. I just got it last fall down in the delta and it was really strong (we got it up to 55). The altitude is definately affecting it. It just takes a little longer to plane out. Hopefully I can get it tuned next month.

We could bring our little boat to Donner. It has a nice ski tower on it now. Is there a few to bring a boat there?

That would be cool if we had a couple boats. Not sure what you meant by the last sentence though?

Sorry...haven't had enough Diet Coke this morning.

I meant is there a fee to bring a boat there? Like a docking cost? To use their boat ramp or something?

Not if you just push it off the freeway, bounce it down the mountain, and into the lake.
