OH NOES!!!!11!

Not CounterStrike.... I used to play a lot, in a decent clan and everything. Thankfully that nerdyness is behind me, and I've now projected my nerdyness into cars. Oh and I suck now.... aparently everyone got better, or the cheaters are more prevalent, cuz I get my ass kicked these days.

Heh, as Kevin already knows, I still play CS. I started up again when I graduated and didn't yet have a job (perfect time for a video game obsession).

I hadn't played since 1.4, so it took me a while to get re-acclimated. But now I'm back, better then ever.

Well, if we had a nice little friendly group playing (Scotty B is working on a SacSubies CS server, yay!) it would be a lot better. No cheaters, no hackers, and none of us are so good that it's no fun playing against them.

Scott and I did some serious CS Ass Kicking back in the day. Except when we played against Jesse, and then we usually received the ass kicking instead of giving it.

Pretty good game tonight on Matt's LAN. Pretty soon we might even be good enough to play against people who play CS more than they work. (Yes, technically I qualify under that statement, but only if you believe you can divide by zero. )

Hey, get a dedicacted server w/ a password up and running, and I'll reinstall CS on my home computer and join you guys. I just don't want to waste my time playing against the cheating tards on public servers.

Are you guys running Steam for CS, or just updating things by hand? What version are you playing?

For some reason, my CD Key for Halflife won't work in Steam, even though I read it directly off the back of my GOTY edition CD.

It's not strange... lots of people have had their CD Keys jacked.

Trying to talk Matt McCarter (SonicSuby on i-Club) into letting Scotty put a dedictated server on his stupid-fast connection at his house (10 megs up and down!). If that happens we'll have a server up eventually. And Scott, I'll come to the meet this week and give you my last CD key from my Half-Life Platinum edition. Came with 4, yay. Lemme know, because you do indeed need steam now I guess.
