I think Allied Washoe on 4th street has unleaded, i'm not sure though cuz that's where I get race gas for my go kart but that's 114 leaded. So i'm not sure, you might still want to check it out.

ive been to allied washoe, and the 110(i think) the have in the back next to the propane tank is leaded. do they sell higher octance at the pumps? thanks for the first post, but im running the UTEC in my car so i can advance my timing through the computer depending on conditions and gas, which is why id like some higher octane gas so i can advance timing a bit more.

I don't think they have unleaded but, i'm trying to think of the name of this place that's on the way to Virginia City. Maybe someone else on the forums knows what i'm talking about. I know they do sell unleaded there but I can't remember the name.

There are two sources in the Carson area I am aware of. One is Major Fuels, and one is Pro Pit. I don't know if there is a pump anywhere nearby. I think both of these sell it by the barrel, 30 or 55 gallon, and at least a couple years back Pro Pit delivered to Reno. A barrel hand pump from Harbor Freight is about $20 as I recall.

there is a phillips 76 near my place on plumb that sells 100, but they are way over priced. I heard that there are some places around that have it at better prices though.

Where on Plumb? What is overpriced? You can expect to pay between $4-$5 for 100 octane unleaded almost everywhere. This is why most people only run it at the track when they really want/need the performance.

Plumb and lakeside, but it is overpriced, $6.50 or $7 a gallon.

Ah, that's the way it was when I looked a couple years back. The 76 comes up from Sac. as I recall in 55 gallon drums. That is why I went searching and found the 30 gallon drums in Carson... I think you can go straight through the 76 race gas guy in Sac. and get a better price than any station is going to offer you.

yeah, i was sure that there would be a cheaper place, but I haven't bought my 100 octane chip program yet so I haven't done a lot of searching.
