Default So I met some of you at Buttonwillow...Want info on Reno

OK, I'm really bad with names, but I met a couple of you at Black Angus during dinner. You were talking about $75 test and tune days and such. I'm a bit of a track whore and I'm always looking for cheap track time.

Is there generally a post when people go up there?

Also, I saw the proposed (under construction) road coarse. It looks like it's going to be a fun little spot.

Thats the main thread we have for our trackday.

Keep in mind that the $75 test and tune is after you get a track liecense. I'm not sure if any track liecense will work, you may have to go to classes specifically at Reno/Fernley. Other members might have more info on this.

I remember you. You were living in Mass. moved the San Fran right. Glasses? And of course I remember your car, with the trackday RS wheels.

Did you have some good sessions out there?

my name is tyson, same as the username.

thanks for coming on over.

Yeah, that's me. I'm sure I'd remember most people's faces that I met, but I'm really bad with names. Anyway, I did have some good sessions out there. I only got passed by three cars all day, Gary Sheehan, Subiedude, and the Bianco Subaru.

I don't know about the track license. I am licensed with a group COM http://www.comscc.org but they are just a time trials group, not affiliated with any track or sanctioning body. I did quite well there however.

What groups do people drive with to go to Infineon, Laguna Seca, etc?

Hey man, I'm Matt, I sat across from you at Dinner, Glad you made it to the board. I lost track of you at the track, hope you had a great time, I know I did. Anyway, we should have some more news about the track day soon. The phone number on www.reno-fernleyraceway.com seems to be the best way to find out if test and tune time is available. I think your track experience and license should be enough to get you onthe track, but I would ask the lady on the phone just to be sure. Check back regarding our track day though, we should have details soon.
