Default Look! Affordable "driving" shoes!

Deede found some Addidas driving shoes at Journeys (I think that's the name of the place) at the Mall. The "Adidas Monaco GP Nylon" driving shoes are based on 1980's F1 shoes... They're not SFI rated or anything, but for $65... so what! They're low on stock, so they don't have a lot of sizes left, but you might want to take a look anyway, as they have both low and hi-top versions and several colors... like PINK!

...and yes, those are GoodYear logos on the side...

And don't forget the most important part, the chick selling them "really likes STi's and WRX's"

but then again, her co-worker has a buddy with a CRX that "can beat STi's by 8 car lengths"

Don't forget, Kevin McCormick easily beats WRXs by that much, on an autoX course.

The price out the door was $80-$85 or so.
The pink ones rock in fact I'm wearing them right now. Got to break them in for Sunday.

I'm wearing mine too... but since they look so 'tarded with shorts, I had to wear jeans today.

I *wish* they has the pink one's in Women's size 13 so I could get some... but alas, no "cherry blossom red" racing shoes for me.... I had to settle for the black/red hi-tops.

I prefer mine:

harnesses: $65
track entry fees: $200
chasing down cars with 100+ more hp than you: priceless.

That reminds me, I need a new SA rated Full face helmet for less than a fortune... Did anyone find a good local source, or is it racerwholeale.com time...

I got mine at racerwholesale for $100 on clearance, but it's M2000. All the full-faced SA2000 ones I saw were $200+

Check out the Puma Speedcat shoes also. They look awesome and they're very comfy. Great for driving in too. You can get the suede ones for like $65-$70 and the kangaroo leather ones for like $100. I have black suede and white leather

EDIT:

Oh, baby. These are new - I may just have to buy these:
