Default How does this color look?

Im starting to paint my '78 wagon, but Im not sure about the color... I was just going to keep the beige, but I really want blue and now is the time to do it since im doing all this body work and the engine is out...

Anyway, I tried this krylon blue but it seems a bit too bright:

So I think ill go with a darker, metallic blue that I picked up from home depot... I try it out tommorow and see how it looks.

(more pics of the project here: http://community.webshots.com/album/166896604vSrMWC )

From the pictures it looks really bright! Maybe it's because it cast against those other dull colors.

Here are the pics. As you can see, its a much darker blue than that other blue. More like an R2 D2 blue

God knows when... I only get to occasionally work on it in my spare time. Luckly my mom seems to like doing some of the detailed body work (gives her something to do) but I still have to put the engine back together and get it back in, along with some other serious body work that needs to be done (holes in the roof)
