I had Halloween lights up - but no trick or treaters. If I ever buy a house again, I'll have a Halloween party ...

I thought about going to Frightmare on Sun. night, but drove by the Hilton about 4pm & the line was like 2 miles long. Forget that! Then an idea was to go see The Grudge - but Dean told me it wasn't getting all that great reviews.

So, Rachel & I watched Evil Dead in the dark (couldn't find ED2 to rent) - that movie was nasty, and scary.

I spent the day disemboweling myself... had some bad sushi on Friday, got sick while in Sac Saturday evening, came home before the Rally on Sunday, and missed work on Monday. I'm at work today, but I still feel like crap, and I'm on enough Immodium to plug up an Elephant. Plus, I'm hungry as hell, but can't eat.... all I've had since pizza Saturday night is a bowl of Ramen, some tuna and crackers and gallons of water and Gatorade.

Also, I have to figure out how to go wait in line for a few hours to vote w/o having to run to the bathroom. Bad stuff.

Sorry that you feel awful Scott. Hope you get well soon. Let me know if there is anything that I can do for you. Food, Drink, etc. I'd be happy to help.

Food and drink are the last thing I need!

Also, I'm pretty sure it was Friday's sushi... Nick came down with the exact same simptons as me, and we were sharing rolls since we sat next to each other.

Since I've never had food poisoning before, what's the deal? Do I need to go to a doctor for antibiotics or anything, or will my body fight it off on its own? I feel a little better today than yesterday, but it could simply be due to better OTC medication.

for food poisoning you pretty much have to let it take it corse................lots of fulids will help and other things like breads to help absorb and give you somthing in the bathroom. most food poisonings only last a few days so your at the end and should eat tonight

I've had food poisoning before, once I got over it by waiting it out & liquids & rest, but another time I had to go to the ER. You don't want to know what they give you to help you. Anyway, suggestion, just don't overdo Imodium. Feel better.

Well, I felt feverish and had body aches (like you get with a cold) on Sunday, but since all that's gone, I figured I "turned the corner" so to speak. I just wish the stomach cramps and associated evilness would go away.

And I've yet to exceed the maximum dosage of Immodium in 24hrs... though I can't take anymore without going over.

Here's my mom's Japanese old world recipe -- while you are lying on your stomach, get someone to gently press on your back behind your stomach; it'll get your digestive system working (& you thought it was overworking!); and drink some umeboshi juice.

Hey Nick, did your mom ever make you drink that stuff when you were sick?

bleh, yeah I think I'm in the same boat as Scott it sucks. Scott, definitely don't overdo the Immodium, otherwise you will be backed up till next Tuesday.

And no Debbie, I've never had to drink that stuff thankfully.

Sushi Pier 2. Everything tasted good, but I don't know how soon it'll be before I go there again.
