Deal, did somebody say Deal? Oh, Dean, yeah that's me.
Default RNP and Fun Run Challenge...

OK, I am still thinking about the details, but this would be kind of like racing for pink slips, only much cheaper, and people will learn a lot I hope.

All rules subject to change and variations must be agreed to by both patties before the first run.

RNP Challenge: (1 or 2 cars)

- Wager should be agreed to before registration or at minimum before first run. Wager can be anywhere from a beverage of the winner's choice to the cost of 1 driver's entry fee, the later being known as "Racing for Pink Cards" as RNP entry cards historically have been pink.

- Both competitors sign up for Run No Points(normally afternoon, but if they choose, morning would work). 2 driver cars could be run during competitive run groups if both competitors agree.

- Handicaps:
-- If only 1 of the drivers drove a/the vehicle on course earlier the same day, they should offer a "handicap" of at least 0.1 second to the other driver.
-- In other cases, Handicaps may be offered by either driver.
-- Offers may be decline or counter offer made.
-- Handicaps should be agreed to before registration if possible, or at least before the first run.
-- A driver who has not driven a/the car on course offering a driver who has previously driven a/the car on course will be credited 2 "kohone" points which may be redeemed later for bragging rights at the watering hole.

-If they drive one competitor's car:
-- Owner drives first. Runs alternate, either 2 or 1 per driver per region 2 driver rules. If possible, driver with fastest time so far runs first for the last run..
-- Both drivers must allow/encourage other driver to ride except for the last run (2 last runs if > 5 runs) Riding on the last runs is permitted, but only with driver invitation.
-- Drivers must act as pit crew to help check tires, water intercooler, etc. as directed by car owner. Failure to do so will be cause for immediate DQ, and forfeit by offending driver. Tampering or misadjusting tires, etc. is considered bad sportsmanship, and will also be ruled as a DQ/Forfeit.
-- Driver with the fastest time in the car including any agreed to handicap wins the wager.

-If they drive each other's cars:
-- This only works if both drivers previously drove their own cars, or times are to be compared car to other car.
-- If possible, drivers should grid to run back to back so neither driver gets to see the other driver's time prior to their run.
-- If handicap was accepted, driver accepting handicap should offer to grid/run first.
-- Both drivers should allow/encourage passengers to ride except for the last run (2 last runs if > 5 runs) Riding on the last runs is permitted, but only with driver invitation. Drivers not allowing passengers during early runs will be chided later as appropriate.
-- Drivers must act as pit crew to help check tires, water intercooler, etc. on their car and must provide correct and proper setup information such as tire pressure to other driver. Failure to do so will be cause for immediate DQ, and forfeit by offending driver. Tampering, providing false information or misadjusting tires, etc. is considered bad sportsmanship, and will also be ruled as a DQ/Forfeit.
-- Driver with the fastest combined(added fastest time in each car together) time from both cars including any agreed to handicap wins the wager.

**** Results may be posted on any number of web sites! *****

Similar rules to follow for Fun Runs. Thoughts, Comments??? OK, so it is a slow Friday afternoon...
