Default ZoomZoom is being hauled away

My RX-8 is going to the salvage yard this afternoon. No more zoom zoom. Now I guess I'm just meow-meow.

Thanks Kevin! (exhaust swap)
And Thanks to everyone for all your moral support to me through this.

(p.s. I have NO IDEA what I'll replace it with.)

I say another WRX wagon. And whatever you get, you're not allowed to get blue!

Has the insurance company decided how much they are going to give you for the car?

I agree on the wagon part, but think you need another blue one.

<-- Still associates dknv with a blue bugeye in his head.

Yes, they decided - then I decided they weren't right! We are now in the 2nd stage appraisal process. (Hence, the $600 RacingBeat exhaust came off. I hope to sell that and the OEM tires to some RX-8 club members.)

You wrecked your car, again? How'd it happen this time? Sorry to hear about the loss tho - your car is the only RX8 that Ive ever been in! I thought it was an awesome car btw. May I suggest a 350z or Inifinity G35? Your more into sporty cars though, get a 350z... but, if you DO hold out, they are coming out with a turbo version of the RX8 pretty soon I hear... and maybe even an RX7.

I can't help myself, every time I see a blue wrx wagon, it makes me stop & stare....

But you guys are right, blue has not been a lucky color for me. Someone told me, based on some safety study, the 'safest' colors which are most visible to other drivers, are yellow, then orange, then white I think. I guess I like the Orange Slice-colored 350z, but I don't like the rear visibility in that car. I think the G35 is too heavy as a competitive autocross car. I think the MR & Evos are awesome cars, but $$$ for the value, plus I worry about the future of Mitsubishi.

I like Eric's idea-

You should. Whenever I tell someone that I drive a mitsu in Japan they shutter. Japanese people hate mitsu I think - besides the evos ofcourse.

Holy cow --- my old Legacy is blue! That thing attracts other vehicles --- I should drive it to a meet just for kicks sometime before I replace it. It has one straight body panel left --- the roof.
With all the settlements, though, I'm basically driving it for free.
