Default GP Bahrain this weekend.

So, this is an unusually busy motorsports weekend, where will it all fit in?

Of course Autocross testing has priority, but we have local track days at Infineon, Nascar at Bristol and the F1 Grand Prix of Bahrain.

Looks like Ferrari is tired of getting whooped on, and will be debuting the new 2005 Ferrari early, at this weeks race. story here. Barrichello is pretty confident that they will come out on top.

Also, looks like Montoya is out of the GP of Bahrain, with a broken shoulder sustained in a tennis accident. It doesn't appear to be as severe as originally thought, he may only miss this one Grand Prix, but I couldn't imagine getting in an F1 car with a fractured shoulder in two weeks, ouch...
Full story

So, the DVR will be running non-stop this weekend.

I like this:
Renault president, Patrick Faure, said in a prepared statement that Ferrari's motorsport programme would be curtailed with immediate effect.

"There is no point in us racing against ourselves," he said. "Formula One is extremely expensive, and we have shareholders to answer to.
