Deal, did somebody say Deal? Oh, Dean, yeah that's me.
Default Damn it's hot.

With my swamp cooler running 24 hours a day for the past week, came home and the house is 81 degrees. I think that is a new record high with it running like this.

It was only 80 on Sunday or was it Saturday.

To hot to do much of anything besides bitch about how hot it is.

Is your's a roof mount?

That would be nice, along with going through the ducts. I really think an attic fan would help the most though. Even after the sun sets, you can still feel the heat radiating in from the attic. More insulation would help, but just venting that heat wouldn't hurt.

It's 75 in my house. Too bad I'm in the garage where it's 105, wrenching on the car.

It's ridiculously hot. 91 in my house last night........and it was like 80 outside....sweet. No AC and for some reason our house retains heat like Bobby retains water so... HA.

It actually got cooler as we drove through Sac.

The humidity yesterday was killer. Worked on cars in the garage for a couple hours but had to stop.

The swamp cooler can't do much except push around the already wet air.

Had to go for a drive, get a haircut and do some shopping in the middle of the day just to get some AC.

I think it was still about 80° in the house when I went to bed last night.

I saw 1800F EGTs and 260F oil temps at RFR on Saturday. Sunday, I curbed my lap count to keep the car cool, and there were some good spots of cloud cover, so it wasn't so bad. But racing in 107 ambient temps is awful. :blech:

Yea. I was in San Jose over the weekend. The heat was almost murder down there. Even though it isn't much cooler up here, its still better.

I was in Chico on Sat. picking up my son. My car said it was between 108 and 111 degrees. I hit the 111 between Oroville, and Marysville/Yuba city. Plus it was pretty damn humid. By 8:30 in the morning, it was already 94 degrees. *EEK*
