The purpose of this piece is to allow you to run an external wastegate(EWG) up pipe without the wastegate. Why would you want to do this? Well buying the entire EWG up pipe and wastegate can be an expensive thing, so instead of getting a regular up pipe then having to sell it later when you have the funds to go with the full EWG setup you can just buy the EWG up pipe and use this block-off plate to block off the side exit to the wastgate. Then, when you have the funds to afford the wastegate itself, you can take the plate off and put the wastegate on.

Essentially this piece saves you money by allowing you to buy an ewg up pipe up front even if you are not ready for the entire EWG setup yet.


The plate is made from 304 stainless steel and is 1/4" thick.
