Just as the title says. I'm looking to get my car and my mom's car tinted. It'd be freaking sweet if they could offer us a discount since we're both going to get our cars done...

Search. There is at least one review in the vendor reviews forum and it has been discussed quite a bit.

Not being rude, I just don't remember the guy's name... A bunch have used him.

The guys name is Thomas, and his place is off Grove St. IIRC. A quick search for that should turn up his info (I'm on the iPod so I can't paste a link now).

Ah, sorry about that. Didn't think to search.

I was pretty happy with my tint from Trimline. They're not cheap though.

Yeah they are pricey. I have a family member who works there otherwise I would have gone somewhere else. Their work is top notch though.

Really? Mine was cheaper than that on my evo, but there might be some other deciding factors on the suby...and I got mine done two years ago when the economy was a lot better.

Trimline is nearly double the price for tinting every time I've checked with them.

Not for me. Thomas at custom window tinting quoted me 170... But I didn't ask if that was the good stuff or not... Perhaps I should give him a call back before I make my final decision...

Thomas will also usually knock a few bucks of the job if you pay cash. He did my WRX w/ the "high-performance" expensive stuff back in 2001 for $200 cash IIRC.

I'm not gonna be getting my windows tinted tomorrow. My ride to class fell though.

I'm gonna call Custom Window Tinting back and ask them a few more questions instead.

Edit: I just noticed I broke 100 posts. O_O

Thomas at Custom does good work.

Trimline f*d up my friends trim on the top of the door and wouldn't replace it. You could tell they hit it with a razor blade when they were cutting the tint.

Trimline broke the plastic clip that holds the rear center seatbelt out of the way when it's not needed (wagon specific) and they tried to glue the clip back together. Um, yah, make sure you glue your belt buckle when it brakes too...should work great.

I called them up and told them. They talked to the guy who did the tinting and he admitted the mistake so I had to bring it back in for them to install the dealer part. The fix cost me nothing but time.

Holy crap! ^ They must have bumped their prices. I went there when Trimline wouldn't do 20% in the front for me and the guy at All Season only charged me 50 for the front windows.
