Default WTB: Inlet Pipe

My stock inlet pipe is ripped and needs replacing. Only interested in one in good shape. OEM or aftermarket, let me know what you have.

A brand new OEM one is only about $85, but personally I would spring for a nice silicon one.

That's what I'm thinking. Though, I'm assuming I'll need to get retuned for it which ups the price considerably unless Ed lets me just email him a couple logs...but I'm thinking wideband data may be best. Thoughts?

Is this one a good fit?

It's $118.58 shipped from CA.

I don't think you would need to be retuned. It's downstream of the MAF and it's highly unlikely that it would increase flow or efficiency beyond what your tables can handle.

I have an APS hard pipe that you could buy. All you need to do is get Alex to get the other piece from his friend in Spanish Springs.

Don't you have to remove the intake manifold to install a hard pipe? A hard pipe is generally for big boost applications right?

You have to remove the intake to replace the plastic stock pipe too though.

I think many just cut it into pieces to get around that.

So no opinions on the Godspeed inlet? How about the Gimmick Motorsports inlet? Any opinions?

Looks like Godspeed=Ebay crap. GMS has really good reviews. Think I'm going for a used GMS with 10K miles on it if it's in good shape.

Well sure... you can remove the stock pipe in pieces... but to replace it, you're going to have to take the manifold off to put the new one on, unless it's a soft pipe... and even then (having installed a soft pipe w/o taking off the intake) I can tell you it's probably easier just to take off the intake manifold anyway.
