Yeah Art, GGB= WRX Wagon..

Those are the coils I was looking at, they are height adjustable, not dampening adjustable, but I've heard great things about them on the wagon.

For 900$, it seems like a sick deal. HHHmmm.....thinking of putting off wheels to get that first.

Yo Evan,

What kinda deal can you get on JIC FLT-A2's at Vivid? They list 'em at $1799. I think I like them a bit better than the FLEX's since they're double height adjustable and have progressive springs.

just my opinion but, progressive springs are kind lame. most racers of any kind use full rate springs. on a progressive rate spring you will not be able to predict what the car will do. it will always be different no matter how "used" to your car you are.

True the progressive springs are a bit "sloppier" than linear rated springs, but this car is my daily driver, and I need it to be comfortable on the long trips over the pass. A better alternative might be linear springs w/ helper springs like the Tein RA's but those damn things cost too much.

On my old suspension I had progressive-rate H&R springs, but now that I converted the car to coil-overs I have linear-rates in it. As long as you don't go with an extremely stiff spring rate the coil-overs should ride fine, if not better due to the typically smaller & lighter springs. I don't really agree that you can't predict the handling of a car with progressive rate springs, because I auto-xed my car with P-rates for a couple of years and I always knew exactly what it was going to do. However, he's right that almost all racers use linear-rates... P-rates are a good compromise for the street but if you're looking for the extra bit of speed in auto-x, linear rates are better just because of the quicker chassis response they provide.
