Tein Flex Spring rate.
What spring rate comes on your Tein Flex Coil overs? Do you guys know? Tein.com says 10k/ 8k, but that doesn't sound right to me.

I dont know about Subaru models, but the 240sx units come 6k/5k. 10K/8K sounds a bit high. I know the Super Drift coils come 8K/7K -> 14K/14K.

10/8 sounds about right, if not a tiny bit high. I know the Legacy ones will be coming 8/9 (they need to be stiffer in the back, as opposed to the Impreza which needs a stiffer front).

Matt, that sounds really high to me. 8/7 or 7/6 are more realistic rates. My JIC's were 7/5 until I went to a 7k rear spring.

I agree with Scott. Eric's actually felt like 6k/5k or 7k/6k to me, based on the fact that they ride very similar to my prodrive stuff, which I've been led to believe is 6k/5k or thereabouts.

Where is that info from? That's the third different set of rates I've seen posted for the GDA...

Allen, what's up? I was reading from some other sources that those spring rates published are incorrect...And that the Flex's actually run an 8/6 or something. Did your set come with any specs? I'm just curious....
I went another direction with my coilovers, but if the flex's are indeed 10/ 8 you gyus are in good shape.

Hey Matt,
Sorry for the late response... No I didn't receive any "detailed" specs just some basic documentation The only thing that I could find was this..http://www.tein.com/ti/s60-gdf.html It is there published rates. Hopefully it isn't less than what they quote.....that would suck.
