Default 02 WRX Rally Car

Up for sale is my beloved 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX Rally Car
This car is complete, log-booked and ready to race. All you need is a helmet and entry fees.
Featured in SubieSport Magazine and the hardback book "Performance Subaru Builders Guide". Also included with this sale is an entry into next years International Motorsports Expo in May at the Reno Sparks convention center.

A little info on the car:
Engine ej205 tuned by Infinite Velocity Motorsports, Transmission 5-MT with Exedy Clutch
The car was setup for RallyAmerica racing by AllWheelsDriven located in Bend Oregon. Full FIA approved Cage by GrinDesigns also in Bend Oregon. Rally computer and Combox by TerraTrip. Braided Steel Brake lines, racing compound brake pads. New wheel bearings all the way around. Custom exhaust down pipe by Full Throttle Performance, Fully adjustable rear wing (new install) By Kaminari aerodynamics. Factory short shift kit for the 5-mt transmission, new custom radiator and Perrin Intake. Front and Rear skid plating by Primitive Racing.
Suspension: EnduraTech Tarmac Coilovers front and rear. Adjustable camber plates in front and pillowball mounts in the rear. Urethane bushings up front to give crisper steering. WhiteLine adjustable sway bars front and rear.
This car will corner hard enough to suck your eyeballs out of your ears. Perfect for hill climb events and road racing.
It comes with many spare parts + extra tires and wheels. Also included are hood mounted lighting pods for your nighttime races.
The car has a few dings and dents from gravel and tarmac rallys.. Is in need of a new front bumper and hood. I never found a need to change them out after that rally, as it doesn't slow the car down at all

For a viewing shoot me an e-mail farbeyondriven@earthlink.net or call: (775) 745-9571
Please, no looky-loos.

Price drop to $11,000.

How long have you owned this car. It seems like not that long ago a car similar to this was for sale. How many miles?

It was for sale a little while back here in town. Ive had it about 2 years. Im selling simply due to the inability to get time off when ever a race comes up that I want to enter. Ive been in three rallys so far, but it was like pulling teeth to get the time off work for those. I tried autocross but it sucks only being able to get to second gear.
There are 250,000 miles on the chassis. Significantly less on all the suspension, axles, engine and trans.

Not really. Just about every component's warranty would be void on a race car. I installed parts, then if they worked the receipts vanished to the land of wind and ghosts as they were not needed any more. Im on 5MT #3 now. I still have #2 as I was going to save up for dog box gears. Wheel bearings were a craigslist special, Engine from Airport Auto Wrecking with perfect compression. Bushings were bought from Summit, misc stuff from Jegs, Coilovers are from Enduratech. Brake pads from Jegs. I suppose the only thing with 250k on them is the gauge cluster and window motors

Guys, chill. He said HE had the car for sale last year.... Not sure why you're jumping down his throat on timeframes. Buy the car or quit cluttering up the thread, please. This looks like a pretty good deal for a built, logbooked car.

First off, the car everybody keeps talking about for sale on a lot is not the same f'ing car I bought. I think that car was just stickers. I bought this car, private party from Rodger Dauffenbach two years ago. Do you want me to post the god damn bill of sale? Im sick of people thinking I bought this car off a used car lot. I dont even think a dealer could take on a full race car to sell.
Second, I was indeed there at the 341. I even talked to you about your soobie, alex. You didnt really recognize me, so I didnt bug you that much. I was in my white 92 mustang. I was working the event as a volunteer. I was there for set up, the race and a little bit on sunday. Sunday I brought the soobie.
I have log book entry for the rally America event, and a trophy for the Chihuahua 500 *3rd in class*

I was just concerned for potential buyers that if he was claiming to have entered races with the car for sale, that he hadn't enter, that other information could also be mis-typed in. basically it threw off alarms bells to me.

I would expect / hope that other club members would also try looking out for me if i was about to buy something and they suspected inaccuracies in the information i was presented with. (we're all one big community right??)

I have checked out the car before and it is indeed a solid build with a log book rally prepped and ready to go (could easily pass any road racing tech too). The car can stand on it's own with out any races its been in listed, but since they were listed , and i've been to some of the ones listed i felt compelled to share what info i knew , with the community. Last i saw it it also had some really nice Rally 15" rims (very strong rims)

Sorry Shaun didn't mean to clutter up your 4-sale thread, i just got confused by information presented here.
