FYI: KMFDM just came out with a new album this week, Hau Ruck, and it is very rock. Very much a departure from their recently electro experiments. I like the album a lot, but then again, I like just about everything they have put out.

also, there is a lot to do around Reno, that can be a lot of fun. Camping, hiking, fishing, just chilling at the lake. All good times.

I have this burning desire to chime in here, and say that MUDVAYNE kicks ass! That is all.

W3rd, I am big time into the outdoors. I'm an avid mtn biker, snow boarder, and I am ready to backpack at the drop of a hat. These are the main reason I agreed to move out here. An added bonus has been that people are really nice here. I'm not running into the snobby bitches I'm used to...at least when I go out I don't see them.

Saturday night I checked out Satelite. It's really close to my house. I would have walked if I wasn't with a girl in heals. I liked it a lot...I'm definately going back. There's a little blurb about it in the R&R this week. I totally recommend it.

How is that gonna work? Satelite is the size of a studio apartment. Looks like they're going to be there Friday and Saturday nights. I'll probably go to both. Now that I found a bar I can walk to, I'm all about it.

I feel old now. I had to go to iTMS to figure out who The Lovemakers are.

I like it though. Sounds like Wolfsheim mixed with The Rapture.

I hadn't heard of them either. Listening to the four songs they have on their website , they sound alright, but that bassist/singer is hawt!

Yah they just pack a bunch of people in the place.

It was at compacity last time I went to go see them.

But you are right it really doesn't take much to fill that place.

If you get tired of Satellite, The Chocolate Bar is down the street at California and Arlington. If you have a lady with you, that's teh place to go...

gurlz+Chocolate+ Alcohol = the win!

That's some good advice. I had no idea there was a bar there.
