Deal, did somebody say Deal? Oh, Dean, yeah that's me.
Default DMS50s back in w/new springs..

The Rear DMS 50s are back in, and new springs all around...

All springs are progressive. I believe the spring rates are at the max progressive.

12.5Kg front
11.6Kg rear

Just blasted around the neighborhood and they appear to be awesome...

I need to fix the aignment tomorrow though because the rear is probably 0 to positive 1 degree due to the camber built into the rear strut compared to the stock...

I'm also going to need to dial in the bump and rebound damping, but hey, I have a whole week... I'm thinking about making a run down to Minden to pick up the scales tomorrow to corner weight the car while doing the alignment.

Now if I just had a straight and complete set of wheels that fit over my Stoptechs so I could put them on... Arghhhhhh

One of the Enkeis was damaged in shipping. Trying to get a replacement here by Fri. One of the SubZeros is bent and an out of production color... At this point, I'm looking for any 1/2 decent straight SubZero regardless of color.

Actually, the stock ones were double progressive(diameter of the spring wire changes, and the space between coils) and lower spring rates, so they were probably more comfortable These only change wire thickness, and have much higher spring rates. They should track, autocross and overall handle better, but ride on the street will probably be worse. We'll see...

Oh, and did I mention that nobody wants to sell me Carbotech Panther Pluses for the Stoptechs, or they won't return emails, or phone calls. I have some R4Ss lined up, but really wanted to try the Carbotechs...

Raceaflais strikes again... I should have been entirely ready for the track day before Rally tomorrow night, but not going to happen...

Dean, skip the Carbotechs. Just get some Ferodos or Pagids or Porterfields.

Why? The Carbotechs appear to be well thought of I thought from what I read. I've tried Pagid, and Poerterfield before, and thought what the heck. The Bocats are supposed to Axis Ultimates on steroids, and the Panther series great track pads, or so I've read.

Liek I said, I have porterfields in the wings if I need them.

Dean you will love the stoptechs. Not that this helps the wallet, but stoptech just released their wrx rear kit. 328 mm in the rear with 2 piston calipers all for the same price as the fronts.............ouch!
