Scott, I never got a chance to plug it into a power supply, but you might want to verify that it was actually unmarried:
http://www.accessecu.com/kb/index.ph...tId=22&catId=3 (I just checked and the power supply is 5V) |

It better be unmarried, I read the direction like 8 billion times and called Matt to make sure, and I sat there and watched it "revert back to stock".

Also, Nate verified that the AP was properly unmarried. In fact it seems to marry just fine to my ECU, but when you turn the car on, everything goes haywire... clicking relays, no fuel pump prime... etc.

Also, I think I've got the specs on the power supply... I'm gonna order one from Jameco.
Here's the unit... can anyone confirm or refute that it's got the right specs? I'm pretty sure I've got the voltage and amperage right, but I don't know if I need regulated or unregulated (this one's regulated) and I'm not totally sure about the size of the plug. AC to DC regulated wall transformer Input: 120x60 AC Output: 5VDC 1000 mA Plug: 2.1mm ID x 5.5mm OD female, center positive http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/sto...oductId=425519

Okay scratch that... it's a 1200mA transformer, not 1000mA... time to recheck the Jameco catalog.

Here's the AccessECU-recommended stuff to check:
http://www.accessecu.com/kb/index.ph...tId=21&catId=3 They'll prolly hafta call Cobb. I've seen various threads about occasional bugs on a few cars. |

More cord posibilities:
http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/sto...51&pa=219651PS But that one's got a different plug size... I really need someone w/ an AP to measure the plug for me... anyone? ...or I could just order a plug from Cobb, I hear they're only like $5... but then I gotta wait till Monday (I'm assuming they're closed today).

Is this your original ecu, or one you bought off someone? Is it possible they had some kind of reflash on there already?

Also, after checking out MattM's cable I've found the correct power cord over at Jameco: http://www.jameco.com/webapp/wcs/sto...97&pa=308697PS Unregulted AC to DC Transformer: Jameco P/N: 308697PS Mgf P/N: M1-10505 Input Voltage: 120VAC @ 60 Hz Output Voltage: 5VDC @ 2000 mA Plug: 2.1mm ID x 5.5mm OD, female, center positive And I'm damn sure this is the right one, since I busted out calipers and measured the connector, and this plug looks exactly the same as the AccessPORT plug.
