Dude!!!! The knock sensor is the only thing we ever see turn the cel on in that era car... Impreza, forester and legacy.... The A/F sensor is the second biggest.

I would double check the installation of the piston rings, that's where they screwed my engine, they put the scraper ring on top. As far as the seals, oem cam& crank seals just seam to work better,...

Spark plugs are recomended for replacement at 60,000 mile intervals... I'd be willing to bet that you had a tumble generated valve code. That code is more common than any other code.

I just got done washing my car, no paint damage but there is a crap load of rock chips in the rear wheels. It was fun though, cant wait for the next one.
